Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders you place via equion.vet. We refer you to them during the checkout process before you submit your order and give you the opportunity to read and save them.

Deviating terms of the customer do not become part of the contract unless we expressly agree to them in writing.

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession. An entrepreneur is a natural or legal person or a partnership with legal capacity who, when entering into the transaction, acts in the exercise of their trade, business or profession.

All prices are final prices and include the VAT applicable in your delivery country. Shipping costs are shown separately during checkout and displayed before you submit your order.

The price displayed in the store at the time of your order applies. If a price was displayed incorrectly due to an obvious typing or system error, we are entitled to decline acceptance of the order; any payments already made will be refunded without delay.

Product images are for illustration. We aim to reproduce colours and textures as faithfully as possible but cannot guarantee an exact match on all devices.

The presentation of products in the store does not constitute a legally binding offer but an invitation to order.

The ordering process involves the following technical steps: you add products to the cart, open the cart, enter your delivery address and, where applicable, a different billing address, select a shipping method and a payment method, review your details on the summary page and submit the order using the "Buy now / order with obligation to pay" button. Up until submission you can correct your entries at any time using your browser's back function or directly in the cart.

By submitting the order you make a binding offer to conclude a purchase contract.

Receipt of your order is confirmed automatically by e-mail; this acknowledgement of receipt does not yet constitute acceptance of your offer. The contract is concluded when we send our order confirmation or when we dispatch the goods.

We may decline orders at our reasonable discretion, in particular where products are unavailable, where misuse is suspected, or where product details were evidently incorrect. We will inform you of this without delay.

The contract language is German. This English version is provided for convenience; in the event of discrepancies, the German version prevails.

We store the contract text and send it to you by e-mail together with the order confirmation. You can also access your order details in your customer account under "My orders". These Terms and Conditions can be viewed, saved and printed from this page at any time.

The payment methods displayed during checkout are available, in particular credit card, PayPal, wallet payments, SEPA direct debit, Klarna and advance bank transfer. Which methods are offered in an individual case may depend on the delivery country and the order value.

Where payment in advance is chosen, we deliver once the full invoice amount has been received. Full card details are not stored on our servers; payments are processed by PCI-DSS certified payment service providers.

We deliver to the countries selectable during checkout. Shipping costs, delivery times and delivery areas are set out in our shipping policy, which is linked during checkout.

The risk of accidental loss and accidental deterioration passes to you as soon as the goods are handed over to you. Please report transport damage without delay to [email protected] – this helps us pursue the claim against the carrier and is not a precondition for your rights against us.

In relation to entrepreneurs, the risk passes upon handover to the carrier.

For deliveries to non-EU countries, customs duties, import VAT and other charges may apply and are borne by you unless stated otherwise during checkout.

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. To exercise it, please use our withdrawal form or contact us at [email protected].

Details on the period, the return of goods, return shipping costs, compensation for diminished value and the statutory exceptions are set out in our withdrawal notice.

The statutory rules on liability for defects apply. For consumers, claims based on a defect become time-barred two years after delivery of the goods.

Please report defects to [email protected]. Reporting is not a precondition for asserting your statutory rights but considerably speeds up handling.

All content on equion.vet – in particular texts, images, graphics, logos, trade marks and product descriptions – is the property of MI Europe GmbH or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trade mark law.

Downloading and printing content for personal, non-commercial use is permitted provided all proprietary notices remain unchanged. Any reproduction, distribution or use beyond this requires our prior written consent.

We are liable without limitation for damage arising from injury to life, body or health and for intent and gross negligence.

In the case of slightly negligent breach of material contractual obligations – obligations whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose observance you may regularly rely – our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.

Liability is otherwise excluded.

Liability under the German Product Liability Act and in the case of a guarantee given by us remains unaffected.

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which the consumer has their habitual residence.

For merchants, legal entities under public law and special funds under public law, the place of jurisdiction is Frankfurt am Main. For consumers, the statutory places of jurisdiction apply.

We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

We may amend these Terms and Conditions for future orders. The version published on this page at the time of your order applies to your order.

Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected.
